I am excited that two wonderful people have already volunteered to be moderators.
If you want to play a more important role here and have the time and the passion we would love you to be one of our lead moderators.
I hope to open up the Gibson company and the Gibson team to moderators and leaders, so you can talk directly to designers, builders, and just about anyone on our team. We will let you in on inside info and will sponsor meetings at our factories and at Nashville HQ. I would hope to meet with you regularly and give you my insights and knowledge base.
If this sounds interesting to you, let me hear from you. We need your leadership. Henry

1) Moderators should have more than basic knowledge of the products. (All Gibson Products)
2) Have a maturity level above the average forum poster.
3) As a guitarist of over 35 years professionally as well as a tinkerer, I don't want some 15 year old up in my face.
4) Many new members here are old members on the other Gibson forum. And by old I don't mean in years or knowledge.
5) Choose carefully. Ask for credentials for the sake of credibility.
This will help insure a smoother transition into the new Gibson arena.
Sincerely.

Great points. I agree and will proceed slowly.
Let me know if something is not working out well from your point of view.

I agree that Axe is a straight shooter, but I take exception with the "Kinda Cute" comment-- Well, he's cute in a non handsome sort of way;)
I also agree that there should be moderators with at least a semblance of life experience and maturity, a very good understanding of the entire product line as well as credentials (I have a man card)
