Ok this is way out there! No more Les Pauls? Just saying it makes my ears hurt. you may as well just say no more Rock And Roll like that is going to happen. Gibson, keep on rocken in the free world or the real world what ever comes first.

I can wait to find out......Once it has nothing to do with:

1. Gibson moving production overseas
2. Discontinuing any of the main line. ( LP, SG, Explorers, V's , Firebirds, ES's etc.)

A new model would be interesting......A limited edition means I won't get the chance to get one..... :(

Gibson buys Taylor (or make a merger with them) till end of 2010.
After this Gibson makes the distribution for Taylor wordwide.

Distribution for Taylor in europe done by FENDER ends with the end of 2010. Big surprise for everybody today.
Fender did tons of investments for Taylor including a new showroom in Germany opened about 2 month ago, a complete new departement of service people and more.

OK here's my guess.

Gibson buys Guitar Center and introduces sales force & guitar tech training to ensure quality control for the final mile to the customer. Quality and customer satisfaction improve and Gibson continues it's 30% annual growth rate.

2 years from now Gibson installs teleconference suites in the Gibson Guitar Centers and provides 10 hours if free instruction with each Epiphone guitar sold growing Epi sales 50% in one year.
