Well freedom of speech is a great thing as you get to see many angles and point of veiws.I not sure if it is healthy, but can make one feel not so alone. The angle I dislike the most is the one on my guitar.Im learning now that Id take a good neck over the head stock any day,I have tried to play the head stock. Thanks Gibson for helping me look beyond the big two brands and giving me open mind and direction that I lost 30 odd years ago.

It is really impossible to reply to someone who has seen a product we cannot actually see and evaluate.
As I have said, we are not perfect, but we do have lots of statistics on returns (or lack thereof), calls from consumers, etc. which let us know we get it right the vast majority of the time. If you really think about it, it would be really hard to stay in business selling premium priced product that was not well made. The guitar buying consumers are extremely sharp and rightfully demanding when buying premium product.
I have no problem occasionally addressing negative posts with what I feel is the truth, but after a few responses there is not much more I can add.
Best to all.

Wow.
I think that was really uncalled for.
There is a legitimate dialogue going on in this thread. I two division executives have responded. I read the original comments and I am reading yours.
Your personal affront has nothing to do with what is being discussed and it is not appreciated.

That was completely uncalled for. I guess the word respect has lost much of its value over the years, all I see is foolish young children trying to "keep it real", by being rude, and confrontational. Now, I'm not gonna blow smoke (or anything else for that matter) up anyones ass, but lets face it. Henry is one of 2 people who own this company, and DOES NOT HAVE to involve himself to the point he does. Do I like that the guitars aren't as well made as when I was a kid,or that they cost 3 times more than I make in a month? Of course not. But there is a remedy if you choose. Buy something else. And for the love of mike, grow up, quit spouting off at the keyboard, and at least TRY to be constructive, we're supposed to be musicians here, so how about a little creativity, not negativity!
