A few days ago I was sent an e-mail from Gibson service department regarding how to get an RMA number to send back my guitar for repair. I called and the service employee took my information (serial number, name, address, etc) and said that the system was down for creating RMA. I called yesterday and today to see if the system was back up and all I got was a recording asking me to leave my name and number (which I did yesterday)...
I assume the system is still not working and they will return the call or send me another e-mai with how to return the guitar.

John,
Yes we have been experiencing some systems issues and I am sure someone will return your e-mail on Monday if its back up. If its not up soon I am sure someone will give you a return call, please stay in contact and hang in there.
All else fails you now have contacts through the forum here and Gibson does care about their customers/fans.
Thanks,
Johnny Alexander

Thanks Johnny. That is what I thought. No problem. I can imagine what you guys dealing with to get everything back up and running again. I'm a plant engineering manager at 3M and would not want to have to deal with an issue like you guys did.
Thanks,
John
