Looking thru the latest Vintage Guitar magazine I see the largest chain store ( brick & mortor) also can show their stock online & sell no problem. Why then can't the other stores ?

Internet Photo policy ??? Cause for concern

Canadian stores can show their Gibson stock...along with publishing their prices...are there different rules for the States...???...

IIRC:: The case was:
(1) Internet photos ==> internet sales (by Mr. J's definition)
(2) Internet sales ==> Gibson Approved dealer.
(3) Gibson Approved dealer ==> meets minimum sell-through requirements.
Hence, even if you had no internet sales department, working backwards, you could not post internet photos *even without prices*.
This is represented as (I hope) clarification of how we understood the Gibson Policy to work.
Now, there seems to be a possibility of brick-and-mortar, small-volume FLGS sales being restarted.
For which I have nothing but approval at this early juncture.
