...this would eliminate the need for carting around various guitars with various pickups with "signature" sounds and characteristics...you would only need to have a single guitar that provides any sound you desire...

How often does Gibson hold full blown press conferences to make announcements...as opposed to "simple" written press releases...???...Does a conference indicate more "importance" or "weight" than just your average everyday run-of-the-mill release...???...

Carlino...didn't Line 6 start offering a guitar with this capability like...oh...maybe 10 years ago?
