Hey Henry how you doing? Its me again With another question. Now in 1974 I was getting out of High School and looking at going to Viet Namm. But at the same time I was updateing my Equipment from my Kalamazoo Guitar and amp.I ended up going with a Peavey amp and Epiphone Dot guitar. But the guitar I had the Hots for and almost spent all my money on was a L5-S. I've always thought the Les Paul has been the ugliest guitar I've ever seen. The poor guitar has been Cloned into every kinda different configuration anyone could have thought of and priced the same. Did you ever think of bringing back the L5-S? It's something most of the guitar players have never seen or Know about ( unless They might know someone that might own one). They are the finest Studio guitars I've heard and instead of making the same mistake that Gibson made the first time, Bring them back for stage and Studio seperate. I'm getting one built for myself right now. Found a Fender building company that still builds them.I'm getting it built out of Mahogany with the outer wood Rosewood on body and Neck. I'm putting my favorite P-90's on it to get my sound from it. When Its finished being put together I'll post so Yall can see it.
But sorry about getting off the subject. I think the L5-S will help on your sales and bring back a fine shelfed Guitar. Thanks For Your time // Steven

Well How you doing Henry? I saw the 15 Grand L5-S Was a beautiful guitar. Also saw y'all decided on bringing back the L6-S instead. To bad. Since I couldn't seem to talk y'all into the guitars I wanted I'm doing like a lot of people who you don't listen to and go somewhere else to get it built. I guess making a thousand different kinds of Les Pauls makes it for Y'all. I just wanted to share the two that I had built after going thru the Gibson red tape. Built somewhere else. The first one is the L5-S.I was told it looked like a piece of furniture. I guess some people don't like the Fancy Rosewoods. Its funny the people who built it for me were Certified Fender people. So my first Gibson comp. guitar, was a Gibson that looked like a Fender and my last is a Fender made Gibson.

The second was A design I wanted on the ES-339. This is a Gibson made guitar in the old Gibson plant in Kalamazoo. It has 3 P-90's the center on reversed. I came to love this sound with my Epiphone Zephyr Blues Deluxe.
